# TRON Energy Rental & API for Business | Netts

Rent energy without signing up, or connect Netts to your operations through the API. For corporate clients — post-paid billing, fiat settlement and enhanced AML screening powered by Elliptic.

Corporate terms are available after business verification and contract agreement. Netts is operated by Recorise Ltd, Seychelles, company no. 248397.

## Ways to use Netts

- [On this page](https://netts.io/#rent) — Send the amount shown in the rental card — energy is delegated to the sending address. No sign-up.
- [API](https://doc.netts.io/) — Order energy, bandwidth and checks from your backend with an API key.
- [Workspace](https://netts.io/workspace/) — Dashboard for orders, balances, API keys, sub-users and reports.
- [Telegram bot](https://t.me/netts_energy_order_bot) — Rent energy from a chat, including automatic top-ups.

Custom DApp energy orders are temporarily unavailable. Use the Transfer tab for one-hour rentals, or order through our [energy bot](https://t.me/netts_energy_order_bot).

## For exchanges, wallets and payment services

TRON operations without constant prepaid top-ups. Connection on agreed terms: post-paid invoicing, settlement in fiat or digital assets, address checks and management through the API.

- **Post-paid invoicing** — Pay for services already delivered against an invoice — no prepaid balance to maintain.
- **Fiat settlement** — Settle in fiat currency or in supported digital assets.
- **Partner sub-accounts** — Sub-accounts with your own markup, each with its own API key and balance.
- **Screening to your requirements** — Enhanced AML screening can follow the requirements of your contract.

How onboarding works: Contact sales and describe your volumes → Pass business verification → Agree the billing model and terms → Integrate through the API or Workspace.

Post-paid, credit-based and intermediary arrangements require business verification before activation. Energy and sales: energy@netts.io, Telegram https://t.me/netts_io

- [Reports](https://doc.netts.io/api/v2/endpoints/reports-statement) — CSV and PDF statements with webhook delivery

## Compliance built into every order

What happens to every delegation request — and what is a separate service.

1. Delegation request
2. Address checked against the central deny list
3. Decision:
   - Address in the deny list — request rejected and not passed to any provider
   - Address passed — request admitted for fulfilment

**Deny-list check.** Every delegation request is checked against the central Netts deny list before fulfilment. Requests involving a listed address are rejected and never forwarded.

**Enhanced AML screening with Elliptic.** A risk assessment of an address from blockchain analytics providers, including Elliptic. Ordered per address through the API — it is not run automatically on every order.

Compliance Check is a deny-list lookup, not a full AML report. [Compliance Check](https://netts.io/tools/compliance/) · [AML, sanctions and prohibited-use policy](https://netts.io/aml-policy.php)

## For developers and AI agents

REST API with an OpenAPI specification, Markdown docs and an MCP server for AI coding agents.

Check your balance and account:

```bash
curl https://netts.io/apiv2/userinfo \
  -H "X-API-KEY: your_api_key" \
  -H "X-Real-IP: your_whitelisted_ip"
```

Example: create an order (`POST /apiv2/order1h`): This request creates a real order and charges your balance. Put your own address in receiveAddress. [Safe retries and order parameters](https://doc.netts.io/api/v2/endpoints/order1h#idempotency)

## Frequently asked questions

**What is TRON energy and why rent it?** Energy pays for smart-contract calls on TRON, including USDT (TRC-20) transfers. Without enough energy the network burns TRX from your balance to cover the fee. Renting delivers energy to your address for a fixed period, so the transfer uses it instead of burning TRX.

**How is renting different from staking TRX?** Staking locks your TRX to obtain energy. Renting needs no locked funds: you pay for the amount of energy you need, for the period you choose.

**Do I need an account?** Not for a one-off rental on this page: send the amount shown in the rental card and energy is delegated to the sending address. The API, Workspace, sub-users and reports require an account.

**How long does a rental last?** Orders on this page last one hour. Through the API you can rent energy for one hour or five minutes, rent bandwidth, or keep an address supplied continuously with Host Mode.

**Which addresses are refused?** Every delegation request is checked against the central Netts deny list before fulfilment. It covers addresses linked to sanctions, phishing, scams, ransomware, stolen assets and other unacceptable risk. Requests involving a listed address are rejected.

**What is the difference between Compliance Check and AML screening?** Compliance Check is a free lookup in the Netts deny list. AML screening is a paid risk assessment of an address from blockchain analytics providers, including Elliptic, ordered through the API.

**Can a company pay after delivery or in fiat?** Yes, for corporate clients on agreed terms: post-paid invoicing and settlement in fiat or supported digital assets are available after business verification. Contact sales to start.

**How do I automate orders?** Get an API key in Workspace and use the REST API — every endpoint is described in the documentation and in the OpenAPI specification. Partner sub-accounts let you resell with your own markup.

**Can I rent energy for another address?** Yes. Put the recipient address in the memo of your payment transaction. The recipient address must already be activated on TRON.

**What if energy has not arrived?** Check that you sent exactly the amount shown in the rental card, and that the recipient address is in the memo if it differs from the sending address. If energy still has not arrived, contact support in Telegram (@netts_io) with the transaction hash.

**What happens if the check rejects an address?** The request is not fulfilled and is not passed to any provider. The payment may be placed on hold while it is reviewed, and we may ask for additional information. For questions, write to compliance@netts.io.
